If you haven't had enough watching "The Walking Dead" and dreamed of actually shooting zombies in your free time, then you must be ready to help fund such experience as another project with the zombie hunting theme is up on Kickstarter. Called Blood, Guts, 'n Glory (BGnG), the project owners hope that you whip that wallet open and start making a funding pledge for their project to become a reality.

So what's the project all about? This is what according the owners say about BGnG:

Blood, Guts, 'n Glory (BGnG) is an In-Person, Combat / Horror Survival Experience that takes place “In Real Life – In Real Time”, with Real Weapons, Real Combat and Real Pain.  You and your team will battle against other teams, insurgents, hordes of undead inhabitants, and the environment itself.  This is a once in a lifetime event with limited space in a Hyper Realistic Combat / Horror environment that will have you fighting every step of the way to make it out alive.  Nothing has been done like this before!

Hmmm… there's another Kickstarter Project with the same concept, and it's from Adventure Combat Ops. So I guess this is a race between two almost similar projects to get the funding they need to put up such adventure combat game theme.

The BGnG project will be set up in Atlanta, Georgia where the owners intend to have a place for "Apocalyptic Infested Horror environment or a War-torn Urban Battlefield environment" giving the customer two mission options to get the BGnG experience:

1. Hunt down and Battle Zombies & Mutants in a "undead" infested, Ultra Scary, Horrific, Top Secret Government Laboratory.
2. Hunt down and Battle Insurgents and other Special Forces Teams in a Wartorn Urban Battlefield.

Players will be equipped with IR-equipped rifles and sidearms to register their hits when shooting at the enemy, whether these are zombies or an opposing team of terrorists or special forces. To add more to the experience of having the "guts" you will experience pain via an equipment called the irTactical Stress Based Training Belt  that you will wear and will get shocked when you're shot, hit or attacked. With Atlanta being the location for "The Walking Dead" series, the owners are coordinating with two companies involved in the production of the series to provide you the zombies that will be in your dreams once you get through a BGnG game. Thus, the location where BGnG will be is ready to give you that zombie hunting experience you've been wanting to have.

Whilst doing battle against Zombies or some human enemies, you will also  be racking up points and stats just like in a video game including your heart rate!  Individual players will be ranked against other players and teams ranked against other teams.

And that's not all, winners will be escorted by "Hot Babes" to a private lounge where they can chill out with the rest of the team with some gorgeous ladies and enjoy music, beer, food, beer tables, and video games. That sounds like a good incentive, especially if those come free after being declared winners for the night.

Convinced that this is what you want in a combat adventure game with friends as part of a night out? Then help fund the project on Kickstarter. The project aims to raise US$125,000 by the 4th of August and so far it has raised almost US$3,000 as of this writing.

And if the project achieves its objectives, be ready for zombie hunting or going force on force missions. BGnG, if all goes well, will open in October 2014 and real U.S. Special Forces Operators will kick-off the event. That sounds like a good deal.
