An Easter Treat: ROE Airsoft Arm Gun Sneak Peek

OptimusPrime

It's going to be a long weekend for us at Popular Airsoft as we're going to take the Easter Break. We'll try to post some news that come our way if we get the feel of work whilst taking a break. Other news items sent to us during the break will be posted after Easter Monday. For the meantime, why not take a look at this unique airsoft gun project?

One of the things in considering an airsoft shop to buy airsoft guns and gear from, is how competent their tech guys are. Whilst tech guys are always in the backroom fixing customers' guns or checking out deliveries from suppliers to ensure they work, the only way for recognition is in their custom creations, showing their creativity and of course technical skills.

Some of those tech guys I write about work on the projects with Greg Bull of  Rules of Engagement Airsoft (ROE). If you remember the ROE-Evolution Airsoft Chrome Beast that was on display during the IWA 2013 & Outdoors Classic, ROE behind such masterpiece.

The latest ROE project which was kept under wraps for some time now until Master Chief informed me is the ROE Airsoft Arm Gun Project and they have given us an exclusive look at it. Most of the important information have not been revealed to us, but obviously, this is a three-barreled AEG as seen in the photo below:

It's still a work in progrss so it's not yet an elegant thing to look at. The Arm Gun has three gearboxes, one for each barrel, so it's like operating three AEGs at the same time. Firing control is done through a firing button pressed by the index finger. 7.2 Lipos power the gearboxes and the BBs are fed via a box magazine which is then carried via a bag.

No details on the Rate of fire, and will obviously outgun a single barrel airsoft gun. There's no need for a sight as this is a point and shoot airsoft gun. Just point the arm gun in the direction of target and fire away. With three barrels spitting out BBs the likelihood of the target being hit is high.  The only thing in my mind is the weight of this Arm Gun if someone with a smaller size or smaller arm can easily carry this contraption.

That's the information we can provide you for now, and we know that there's one question you really want to ask: does it really work? The video below says yes and more photos of this concept airsoft gun at the Popular Airsoft Facebook Page:
