When Airsoft Business Deals Go Awry

Gungho Cowboy

The first thing that always comes to mind: the customers are the first to be at the losing end when this problem happens. When two businesses partner up to produce or market a product, any problem that will arise in these arrangements will see them going after each other's necks and it's always a messy thing. Customers, who these business should focus on, will always take a backseat, and always, they experience not having their goods delivered, and worse, their payments not refunded.

Why These Guys Play And Love Action Air

OptimusPrime

An excellent video made by Miguel Cruz and Julius Dela Peña of the IPSC Action Air Practical Shooting Facebook Group. This video puts together a collection of clips of action air shooters based in the Negros Island in the Philippines who state their reasons why they are much into action air. It's a good recruitment tool and at the same time can inspire other airsoft players to try their hands on  action air.

Just For Kicks: Range Officer's (And Marshal's) Song To Range Idiots

Gungho Cowboy

Sometimes those fingers you use for shooting can be dexterous enough to play the piano just like what this range officer did. And not only did he just play a song to entertain, he took No Doubt's "Don't Speak", changed the lyrics, and now he has a song for hardheaded shooters at shooting ranges that don't take safety seriously. "The Range Idiot Song (Don't Shoot)" by fxhummel1 is now going viral on YouTube.

USSOCOM Condemns Bin Laden Takedown Book As "Fiction"

Logan

Having the US NAVY SEALs "brand" nowadays seems to be a gold mine ever since the DEVGRU/SEAL Team Six took down Osama Bin Laden during their much praised raid in Abbottabad, Pakistan this year. We have anticipated movies, reenactments, merchandizing (with Disney copyrighting SEAL Team Six), and of course books. There's a rush to have all things related to the unit profitable, and it's not really a wonder that even if one year has not passed, an "insider's story" of the take down has been written.

A-TACS Camo Gets The Foliage Green Version

Gungho Cowboy

The A-TACS camo pattern got a sizeable following since its release and in the airsoft community, a growing number of players have been getting their own A-TACS loadout. Some of us had held back getting the pattern, as we have preferred something that is more appropriate for woodland or temperate environments, as the existing A-TACS pattern is more appropriate for urban/MOUT settings. In such settings, we would rather go in civvies for airsoft games.

OptimusPrime

Thumpy has been very much on the look out for news about companies looking into airsoft as part of tactical training. He first gave us a heads up about Haley Strategic Partners where Haley Travis affirms that airsoft can be used for cross training for real steel users. And now, in the business front, Khyber Interactive Associates (aka Khyber Training) have teamed-up with KWA Performance Industries in a strategic partnership.

On December 11 and 17, just a few weeks before Christmas, NYCAirsoft.com, the only airsoft forum focused on the airsoft community in New York City and the surrounding regions, together with Moondog Industries, are supporting the US Marine Corps' Toys for Tots Program, a long running program established to help children in need.

The Turks Really Know How To Build Badass Shotguns

Logan

They sure do. Previously, we asked ourselves if the UTS-15 is the baddest shotgun in the world, and that shotgun was made by a Turkish company. Another Turkish company, Derya Arms Industry, bring us another badass shotgun, the Anakon. While at first glance, it looks like another AR-15 variant, but indeed, it is a shotgun, and a magazine-fed one at that.
