Finally, A Folding Stock Adaptor for the AR Platform

Logan

Ho-hum! Some of you in the airsoft community would say, given that there are AR AEGs in the market today that come with folding stocks, especially the Para-type AEGs from ICS. But what if I tell you that you can have this feature to whatever AR airsoft replica that you have, with the exception of those who have stock-batteries or recoil replicators in the stock tube? Would you want this stock adaptor?

I for one would try to get my hands on one of these AR Folding Stock Adaptors from Law Tactical. We know the benefits of having folding stocks, apart from being able to lessen the length of our assault rifles when going into close combat situations, and for load bearing purposes, having the stock out of the way when bearing a rifle would also be a comfortable benefit.

The Law Tactical AR Folding Stock Adaptor can readily fit commercial and LE/Mil buffer tube and stock, giving you the ability to have a low-profile during transport or stowing away your rifle to your gun bag. This is a plus for me as it frees up space in the gun bag and I can store another gear or my pistol while it is inside its holster. When you need the full length of the rifle, just a single press of the release button unfolds the rifle, and immediately locks into place.

Law Tactical says that the when the stock is unfolded, it doesn’t affect the functions of the as the design of the adaptor is built to the same specifications as the standard receiver. They also included a single point sling attachment for you to use your sling, especially the bungee-types. They caution though that the when folded, the real steel rifle is not intended to be fired. But for airsoft AEGs without recoil, it can be possible and for hard-kick AR gas blowback rifles, it might be a problem too when firing with the stock folded.

Since this is designed for real steel ARs, this can be readily installed on gas blowback rifles. For AEGs which might have wider stock buffer, a version made for these would rather be needed, unless the adaptor can be readily adjusted. It will need to be confirmed though, as there's no guarantee that it will fit AEGs. Furthermore, if you are using AR AEGs such as the Tokyo Marui New Gen EBBs or those which require batteries mounted in the stock tube, then this product is not for you.
