IWA & Outdoor Classics 2014 Day 0: Enforce Tac

Dom

Another year went by quick, Nurnberg here we come again! This year's IWA & Outdoor Classics 2014 started with the Enforce Tac, the Military/Law Enforcement exhibition in Germany. Each year, Enforce Tac grows and now it needed a bigger hall in the Nurnberg Messezentrum to accomodate over 50 exhibitors. This event is not as large as the GPEC in Leipzig where over 200 exhibitors representing the European LE sector , but the organizers are doing a great job nursing Enforce Tac.

Call me biased but this year I started with GIS Technologies again. The products they had last year as prototypes were now displayed as final and market-ready. Their rail covers and AK pistol grips are available in various colors. Now it's up to RWA to bring these to the airsoft market along with tthe GIS pistol magazine coupler. I hope that deal is still on the table because I like some of these accessories.

At the Liemke booth I was finally able to get my hands on the CZ Scorpion EVO and the CZ Bren. Liemke also carries the KELTEC brand in Europe and the company has a booth at IWA as well where they're going to display the KELTEC RFB, so expect more eye candy later on today.

The name of this company pretty much says it all: Inflatable Wall Company. At first glance, the product looked silly but watching their promo video convinced me that this could be a great asset for training. The walls are made out of a material similar to the one they use for rubber boats --- this is covered with a tarp which is painted with the desired texture. Once inflated, two steel weights on the bottom will keep it in place and it attaches to its neighboring piece with a carabiner. The system is already used at Lasertag sites so don't be surprised if it pops up at your local gamesite.

Sig Sauer's MPX is on the list of my desired airsoft guns, preferably in GBB version (please a KJW or GHK version) although I still cannot decide if this thing is straight ugly or a beauty. This last  statement could be true for most Sig Sauer pieces, even the handguns.

If I recall correctly H&K's booth was smaller this year, probably the money spared here will be allocated to cover the upcoming fines the manufacturer will face because of its shady dealings with Mexico (allegedly). Regardless H&K won the "Let's put some rails on it and paint it desert color" award. Some of their creations like this G36 are pretty low speed high drag. Please no airsoft version otherwise I need to hire someone to carry it around for me.

Troy Industries also have a booth at IWA so expect more images later. Here you can see the steep angled CQB style grip which is on the market for a while but I think it's one of the best if you're not into the skinny MOE grips.

Beretta dressed all their family members in black.

Finally here is a couple of ideas how to redesign a Saiga from Tactics Group.
