Making Heroes Out of Geardos

Gungho Cowboy

This was sent in as a press release a few hours ago and Optimus Prime told me to make it a feature story. If you think you are an airsoft infidel, then this book project, AIRSOFT INFIDELS – The Very Best of Airsoft & Milsim Photography: Book One, made by Aidan Minter will soon be out. This is a coffee table book which puts into full glory some of the best airsoft shots he has taken. An airsoft player himself, Aidan says it will be released later in this year. Ogre is also planning to release his own coffeetable book too, but for now Aidan trailblazes this portion of Airsoft publications.

Let's read more about this as sent in by the author...

March 27th 2009 London, The very first book of its kind for all budding Airsoft players, geardos and Milsim enthusiasts AIRSOFT INFIDELS – The Very Best of Airsoft & Milsim Photography will be released later this year. Published by Blurb.com, 80 pages, full colour, the book is a collection of the very best in Airsoft and Milsim photography from around the world and features teams in action, loadouts, scenarios, players and kit.

Aidan Minter, a UK Airsoft player and author of the book describes the book as

“pure Airsoft and Milsim eye candy for your coffee table”.

The book is unique in that it fills a gap in the market for a Photography book about players who are passionate about the sport and the kit they wear.

“There’s currently no other book out there like it, if you’re into tactical Airsoft and Milsim then this book will provide some great inspiration to players all over the world”

AIRSOFT INFIDELS – The Very Best of Airsoft & Milsim Photography: Book One is a book created from photographs submitted by Airsoft players and professional photographers.

The books ultimate goal is to present the best photographs together in one medium and share the attention to detail, expertise and dedication of both the photographer and Airsoft / Milsim player via stunning photography.

The book will be supported with a website later in the year and updates on the progress of the book and website can be tracked on Twitter.com via the authors signature “alliedagent”.
