Airsoft Surgeon Grey Springfield 45

OptimusPrime

For 1911 pistol collectors, this new custom gun from Airsoft Surgeon, the Airsoft Surgeon Grey Springfield 45, should be a good addition... "Based on the time proved Tokyo Marui M1911, this beauty sits inside a silver CNC Aluminium Springfield frame and cerakoted grey finish. The choice of building around a 1911 with its single-stack style magazine makes the weapons profile very slim making more comfortable to holster and handle than a Hicapa. We are not implying that anyone would conceal carry an Airsoft pistol of course but it does bless this weapon with smoother handling characteristics.

The otherwise modern aesthetic is somewhat upstaged by the intriguing scaly texture Magpul polymer grip panel which is a contrast to the the real steel weapon on which this is based. Black and grey colour on this pistol really stands out from crowd and many will envy of such fine weaponry. The SV trigger and hammer are both pretty common touches of contemporary race 1911s today.

Tokyo Marui M1911 magazines are not the highest capacity but with 40 rounds to work with that is still a generous volume of shots for a sidearm. With such slim magazines, carrying extras is an easier prospect than the giant double-stack style ones used by more modern pistol designs. There are even quad-magazine holsters that carry 1911 magazines double stacked which is still only ever so slightly bulkier then a double pouch hicapa holster. For someone with quick hands, a 1911s slightly diminished magazine size is more than made up for by its easier time carrying additional magazines.

This weapon comes with an Airsoft Surgeon Design Range Bag (AS-RB) giving you a handsome yet understated method for carrying around and storing your gorgeous handgun. It will also hold 6 additional magazines and small tools making quite the handy little satchel. You can find out more details of this bag by searching for it separately and reading its own product description."
