More Arktis products at Flecktarn... "The Arktis Modular System (AMS) is fully compatible with standard MOLLE systems utilising 25mm webbing for mounting pouches and utilities. The Arktis MOLLE chest rig is a mesh base rig with fully detachable and adjustable strapping. The two points at which the chest rig can detach on the front are left and right shoulders, and these are mounted with an extra wide 50mm buckle at each point which is adjustable for height.
 
The mid-section strap on the back of the chest rig is also attached with two 25mm adjustable quick release buckles, so the rig can be detached from either or both sides. This makes the rig easy to remove and also easy to don without the aid of a second person which is useful if the rig is to be used as a quick way of carrying extra load for patrol or recon work.
 

 
The body of the chest rig can open up at the centre or on either side separately and this opening can be used for storing documents or a small plate. Without contents, the body of the chest rig is extremely well ventilated as it is made of military specification IRR nylon mesh. The shoulder straps are padded from front of shoulder to upper back, and they are mounted with MOLLE PALS webbing for the entire length of the padded section expect for where the 50mm buckle is. Having MOLLE webbing on the back can be useful for tying down a radio antenna or similar object.
 
The Arktis chest rig is optimised for hot weather. This is a light MOLLE rig which also makes it useful as a piece of equipment to be worn over the top of regular webbing or armour to boost carrying capacity, similar to a bandolier. All materials in the manufacture of the Arktis MOLLE rig and belt are top quality IRR military specification Cordura nylon combining the best of modular carrying capacity with excellent ventilation and stability through use of advanced materials.
