Eagle Industries Recall Land CIRAS

OptimusPrime

According to Soldier Systems, Eagle Industries have issued a recall of their Land CIRAS Vests that were made prior to 2010. This was posted at their Facebook Page but it seems nowhere to be found there when we checked nor it's also at their website. Here's what Soldier Systems caught and if you find it we would appreciate a link:

**RECALL ON EAGLE INDUSTRIES CIRAS (#219)**

According to recent reports received by users of whom have owned EI’s product popularly known as the Land CIRAS, we have indicated a structural problem in the CIRAS’ support system. The system’s stitching supports fail and causes the vest to collapse, as seen in our customer-provided photograph (PERSEC for all required precautions).

To insure our users’ safety and prevent body armor (SAPI Plates) from failing their job, Eagle Industries is now offering free inspection, reinforcement, and any other needed repairs that may be fixed under our lifetime warranty.

The issues associated with the Land CIRAS do not effect the Maritime model of the CIRAS.
