Piotr of Gunfire reviews the E&L airsoft AKM which we have been hearing about only recently, and compares it to the real steel AKMS to find out how faithful it is in design... "It has been a while now since some pictures and information regarding a new line of replica began to appear on the Gunfire’s FB profile. They were referred to as the 'masterpiece'.

Finally, it turned out that the new AK family replica line is introduced by the not so well known E&L Airsoft company.  But getting back to the assurances that these will be masterpieces in the field of airsoft: it was mainly supposed to be proved by the great attention to realism and detail, the replica’s make exactly 'according to the military specifications'.

Well, I am a skeptic by nature when it comes to such marketing highlights because many replicas were made 'according to the specifications', many materials 'met the norms' and the final products were no subject for delight. However, I decided to set the bar for the E&L company’ AKM very high and compare it with… a real deal AKMS. What is the result and how faithful is the replica when compared with the original?
