How To Photograph Your Rifle

OptimusPrime

Ted Colegrove of Primer Productions sent this howto blog for those who are intent of doing some airsoft product photography. Highly recommended for those who do airsoft reviews, or selling airsoft stuff. Applicable not only to airsoft rifles but to other gear... "So the other day, Chip from the PA Airsoft community messaged me and said, 'Can you do me a favor, which in turn would do allot of other people a favor? I would like to learn to take weapon photos like yours. Can you do a tutorial for me?'

After a while of deliberating if I wanted to spend time doing this, I decided, why not?

So here’s a semi-brief tutorial on how to properly light, compose, and photograph your airsoft equipment. (this also applies to anything really, but I’m focusing on airsoft for now). Just keep in mind that I have a few photograph terms like F-Stop, Exposure, and ISO. If you don’t know what these terms are, I suggest you look them up."
