Dom's in Taiwan right now, and visiting our friends from the airsoft industry. His first stop, LCT Airsoft... "Here's a little update from LCT Airsoft. LCT used VFC and other gearboxes in their fine AK AEGs before but now they are close to release their very own gearbox. During my visit at their workshop, I was lucky to see their pre-production  Ver3 gearboxes. There will be two versions: one fo­r regular use and one called as 'Custom'. The basic gearbox will have metal bushings while the Custom will have ball bearings for quieter and smoother operation. Other details will be revealed soon, probably when they announce their CNC AK47 receiver."
