Russian Peacekeeper Kit 2008 Part 1

OptimusPrime

Alexander of the Red Army Airsoft Club pointed to this link which Google translated as the Russian Peacekeeper Kit. This kit, according to him, was used in the 8th of August 2008 which marks the 2008 South Ossetia War. On that day, Georgia conducted an attack on South Ossetia which is a breakaway republic. Russian troops were stationed in South Ossetia as peacekeeper when hostilities happened and Russia supported the separatists. This resulted into a Russian, South Ossetian, and Abkhaz military victory with ethnic Georgians expelled from the area.

This is part 1 in which Russian "Military Review" shows us the gear used by the peacekeepers. Part 2 looks like it's more about the weaponry.
