Shoei MG-42 EBB Now At RedWolf Airsoft

OptimusPrime

With a really premium price, the Shoei Maschinen Gewehr 42 (MG-42) Electric Blowback can be ordered from RedWolf Airsoft. As for the price, it's a smacking US$2399.00... "The MG 42 (shortened from German: Maschinengewehr 42, or "machine gun 42") was a 7.92×57mm Mauser general purpose machine gun that was developed in Nazi Germany and entered service with the Wehrmacht in 1942. It supplemented, and, in some instances, replaced the MG 34 general-purpose machine gun in all branches of the German Armed Forces, though both weapons were manufactured and used until the end of the war.

It's been a while since we've seen the MG-42 replicated and Shoei have done it again. First they decide to make a Air Blow Back version and now they've moved on to the Electric Blow Back system. The EBB system isn't unique but they way they've gone about doing so is. Instead of having it in the stock, it is now in apart of the gearbox. This means that the screws keeping it in place will need to be tightened every so often.

But how does it feel? Pretty astounding to be honest. Since it's such a big replica and about 7 Kilos in weight, just above 14 pounds, there has to be a lot of kick to move this giant. However, Shoei have done a great job. The kick is most certainly pleasing but that's just the start of it. The fact that it's mainly comprised of metal apart from the grip and stock, lugging this around won't be on your list of things to do. Laying suppressing fire will be your main agenda on the field.

You might think all things are fine and dandy but one thing does put it down. The fact that it only has a magazine capacity of 150BBs, so you'll need to carry around quite a few spare magazines if you wish to pay suppressive fire for a long period of time. Don't worry about hitting those long range targets though, the hop up on this beast will help you reach distances of up to 40 meters so long as you use 0.25s as your BBs of choice.

At the end of every game, the spring will need to be released but it's very easy to do so. It also comes with a bipod so you don't be damaging the pristine metallic outer barrel if you want to sit it somewhere to mow your opponents down."
