The real steel .50cal weighs in at a hefty 12.9kg (when empty), and the SOCOM Gear is no toy either as it weights more than 10kg (Just the gun itself).

The SOCOM Gear M107 GBB features a reinforced steel body with a Heavy Duty aluminum outer barrel (spring loaded like the real gun) and muzzle brake all done up in a super flat matte finish. There is a full length numbered top rail and authentic licensed Barrett Rifles engravings on the true 1:1 scaled external parts, magazine, Bipod, upper body and barrel. Due to legal reasons however, the SOCOM Gear M107 GBB's internal dimensions and lower body parts are Not to 1:1 Scale to comply with regulations.)

The M107 GBB features a real steel styled barrel assembly with a super powerful recoil spring. One magazine will contain 10 cartridges and each will contain one 8mm 0.34g BB. Every shot will clock in at around 260 fps which may not seem like a lot but since the BB has a much larger mass, it is equivalent to upwards of 500 fps with a 0.2g 6mm BB. Bring on the pain!
