Star of the Discovery Channel "Sons of Guns", founder and owner of Red Jacket Firearms, William Hayden, was arrested last Tuesday for aggravated rape of a 12-year-old girl. According to police reports, Hayden was arrested by East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office. He was released on the same day after paying a US$150,000 bail. This is his second arrest as he was arrested last 09 August 2014 and booked on molestation charges of a juvenile and crimes against nature according to NOLA.com.

Red Jacket Firearms have released an official statement yesterday, 27 August, via Facebook:

Today, Red Jacket Firearms has received complete legal separation as an entity, from Will Hayden. We will continue to operate, although with heavy hearts and promise to do everything in our power to fill customer orders, back orders and provide support to those affected by these new developments.

According to CNN.com, Discovery Channel cancelled the reality TV show after news of Hayden's second arrest broke:

"Given the serious and horrific nature of the charges against Will Hayden, we have decided to halt further production of 'Sons of Guns' and cancel the series," the channel's statement said."
