Surefire "Dirty Harry" LED Light?

OptimusPrime

Spotted during the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) 28th Tactical Conference by our very reliable source last 18-23 September and we'll keep our source's name confidential upon request. We have been doing a search online about this product but we're coming up empty. If anybody can point us where to find photos of this upcoming product, it would surely be appreciated much.

And why are we  calling it a "Dirty Harry" LED Light?  Read below to learn more:

"I saw a prototype of a new Surefire product. It reminds me of a CHUNKY candy bar mounted on a Victorinox watch band.

It's designed to be wrist worn on the non-dominant hand. It has a high intensity LED mounted into one side (forward or front) so it can shine onto the back of the hand when both hands come together in a two handed grip. It looks like it is slightly angled 'outward' so that the majority of the beam clears the back of the hand with the unit vertical on the wrist( thumb side up). The beam is diffused to cover a relatively large area and bright enough to light up a dark room. It even has an accelerometer that is supposed to activate the light (if this function is activated), when the hand is thrust forward and then stops to come together with the gun-holding hand- at the end of the two-handed arm thrust.

Since it's worn on the wrist in place of a regular wrist watch, it'll even tell time! Looks kinda big due to battery size and will take some getting used to. Surefire is already integrating it into their training. I haven't looked on their website to see if it's even hinted at. Do a search for Surefire Model 2211 (recognize that number? Harry Callahan's badge number, chosen on purpose!).  It's set to be unveiled at the next SHOT SHOW.

BTW...I heard a lot of complaints about SHOT and the SANDS. Heard that the convention center is actually condemned and they have to pay a hefty fine to the city every so often, just to remain in business. How does THAT work?"

Thanks for the report, you know who you are. :)
