TacticalGear.com made a nice infographic comparing the Sig Sauer P320 (U.S. Army Designation: M17) to the Beretta M9 pistol that it will be replacing as the standard sidearm. But it will take some time before it happens as Glock is protesting the awarding of the contract... "The Sig Sauer P320 will replace the Beretta M9 as the Army’s standard-issue pistol. The decision was made through a lengthy and controversial Modular Handgun System competition. Out of 12 handguns entered into the contest, the P320 won because of its lightweight, modular design.
