Time for retailers of FMA Helmets that are replicas of the Team Wendy helmet designs, airsoft retailers or otherwise, to stop selling these in the USA. According to Soldier Systems Daily, Team Wendy filed a lawsuit against FMA HK (Zhongshan Mai Bu Mould Co., Ltd.) in the US Northern District of Ohio Western Division. The court ruled in favor of Team Wendy and ordered the FMA to pay the company US$200,000 in statutory damages and to stop its employees, agents and affiliates, from advertising, and selling such designs.

Team Wendy just released a short statement on the matter:

Team Wendy decided to go after a Chinese/Hong Kong company (FMA) that has been knocking off our intellectual property. After we educated the court about the potential confusion and safety issues inherent in FMA’s knock-offs, the court entered the attached judgment in our favor. A nice victory/statement against those stealing American intellectual property.
