Condor Outdoor Cobra Bungee Sling

Operator7

Single point slings have become very popular as they allow easy transitions and are extremely easy to use and setup, even if you want to run them on your rig. Unlike two point slings that get cumbersome in certain situations, these will offer more options and provide the operator with more freedom of movement as these barely get in the way of the action.

Plus, you need a good sling that can hold those over a couple hundreds of Dollars/Euros/Pounds and avoid it from falling to the floor when you quickly transition to your secondary.

The Cobra sling from Condor is no exception as it really eases transitioning my gun from the right side to left side in just a few seconds.

MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION

Material wise I couldn’t ask for anything better since the 1.25" Webbing is extremely rugged. So rugged it gets to be quite abrasive around the neck, so I would really like to see Condor add a small area with suede or other material that could protect the neck area, since running around all day long with about 3Kg of weight supported on the back of the neck leaves my neck red and burning!

As for the bungee, it's quite stiff and there’s not a lot of bungee involved which is good since you don’t get the gun going back at your neck/chin when you’re running.

Holding the gun is a HK snap hook adapter covered with an elastic tube that protects the metal from eating your AEG’s paint and metal. The hook is very solid and I would trust it with any gun.

OPERATION AND FEATURES

The sling is composed of three sections, for easy adjustability and installation, and each section is hold together by extremely sturdy and lasting Duraflex buckles.

These come in handy in when for instance looping the sling quickly through my rig or undoing it.

Also, in many situation where I want to quickly have even more freedom of movement, I’ll swiftly undo the buckle that’s holding my gun and when I’m ok, just clip it back on. Simply and easy, no issues.

Furthermore, there is an adjustment option that allows me to choose how long the sling is going to get so that my gun doesn’t get in the way when walking.

Overall, using the sling is quite easy and self-explanatory this is why running these slings take much out of the complexity and concern of your mind!

CONCLUSION

The sling is available in several colours like Olive Drab, Black, Coyote, and even camos such as A-TACS AU and the one we reviewed which is in genuine Crye Precision Multicam.

If you’re looking for something that is not just cool but also built to last and will offer you ease of use and, then you can get yours at Military1st.

Now it’s part of my main Multicam loadout and I just don’t go to a skirmish without it!
