Arniegeddon is Back!
Well lads, need not worry this time, if you've been missing Arnies Airsoft Arniegeddon Summer event, it's now back as the mods at the forums have been working and discussing on how they can get this back. After some discussion initial details are now out for Arniegeddon 2009 The Last Stand (Yey!). It will be on the 14th to 16th of August at OTT Adventures Anglesea. One of the more festive airsoft events in the UK, everyone is always welcome.
Arnies Airsoft Turns 8 on 23 November
One of the longest running and vibrant airsoft websites in the global airsoft community, the UK-based Arnies Airsoft, which has over 40,000 active members, will turn 8 on Sunday, 23 November 2008... "For once I’ve had a chance to realise that it will shortly be this site’s Birthday and as of next Sunday (November 23rd) we’ll be 8. Yes that’s eight years of continuous web presence and service to the community.
ArniesAirsoft Mobile Update
Arnie just made an update of their Mobile-access service to ArniesAirsoft... "Rather than the system we did have which detected if you were trying to view the site on a smartphone or a PDA and then sent you to a page for that phone, we’ve now got a simple subdomain setup. If you want to check our news on a PDA or smartphone, just pop onto m.arniesairsoft.co.uk.
Arnies Airsoft Now PDA/Mobile Friendly Again
Cool, Arnies Airsoft is now mobile and PDA friendly again, and it's a welcome update if we want more airsoft information while on the road..."After a quick bit of playing around Arnies is now readily accessible from most PDAs. I’ve just tested it on Windows Mobile 5/6 here and systems like the PSP that have a web browser in them and all look pretty good.
ArniesAirsoft Review of the Modify Modular Gearbox Set
We received message from Tex about a great review of the Modify Modular Gearbox made by ArniesAirsoft Global Moderator, FarEast, at the ArniesAirsoft Forums... "Back in July I posted some news regarding Modify’s new modular gear sets, and as promised they sent us a set to test. These are so new they could only send us one without the external packaging as these aren’t ready yet.
