It's "MASKS DOWN" in the Philippines where airsoft players from all over the islands will start to rejoice as the election gun ban ended last night at 2359 GMT + 8. This is according to the provisions of Comelec Resolution No. 9561-A as part of the mid-term Elections last May 13. With gun violence during the election campaigns happening, gun bans are put into place during elections.

One vibrant part of the airsoft world is back into action, no wonder there are group hugs all over the Philippine Isles.

The United Airsoft Alliance from the Philippines is in the final stages of preparing for its North Vs. South 3 event that will be held on the 25th of August 2007 at the Tigerland Colt Center Game Site in Lagro, Quezon City, Philippines.  This site is an undeveloped housing subdivision area, boasting 4 hectares of game area, with developed obstacles, grassy knolls, bunkers, marshall and sniper's towers, and mixed urban/jungle areas.  Parking area is very spacious and can accommodate approximately 1,000 cars.

The Brothers Airsoft Game of Northern Elite Troop (B.A.G.N.E.T.) is sponsoring the 1st M.V.F. Invitatonal Airsoft Cup which will be held on August 25-26, 2007 at the Laoag City Central Terminal, Brgy. 1, Laoag City. This is a CQB Game and the invitation is to Philippine-based airsoft players who can come to the northernmost city. This is to coincide with the celebration of the mayor's birthday, Michael V. Farinas, so the MVF initials there.
