The guys from SCDTV took a break from editing their videos and gave their keyboards the finger --- typing away text-based reviews this time, rather than doing some video reviews. They did quick work on the P1G Tac Summer mountain Set MK2, the Toy Soldier Bandoleer, and the Toy Soldier Defender 2. Click on the links below to read the full reviews.
With all the announcements of the WE Airsoft Gas Blowback's availability from various vendors in the Far East, we still have to see being test fired to have an initial impression about it. Toy Soldier, which posted the video at Forota.hk, is a short clip of it being fired. The firing sounds crisp and blowback action looks good. But of course, it's still best to gauge this when you hold it in your hands at your favourite airsoft retails shop.
For your weekend viewing pleasure, the fantastic guys at SCDTV review the Toy Soldier Coyote 6094A Set. This is a replica of the LBT-6904A2-Slick Coyote Tan Slick Medium Plate Carrier from London Bridge Trading so find out if the SCDTV guys find it as a good replica of the real deal. Also watch out for the plate fight near the end of the video.
With a new set of Harris AN/PRC-152 replicas hitting the airsoft market, Public Enemy have made a video showing the TRI PRC-152, how it works and what accessories that can be attached to it. Also in the video, they also have a Toy Soldier modified TRI PRC-152 replica that can handle the Mil-Spec handheld mike to it. Watch the video to learn more.
Hat tip to Public Enemy.
Now this is a surprise, spotting a combat shirt under the New Balance brand and findin it in Hong Kong rather than in the US. It's tacticool looking one using AOR2 camo which should please Navy SEAL fans. It might be available soon at Toy Soldier's website so better contact them even before it appears as it's a limited run. But who knows? It might also appear at U.S. retailers, if they get lucky to have one.
Public Enemy and Toy Soldier got together to go over the samples of the new WE SVD Gas Blowback Sniper Rifle samples as they are now in Hong Kong. They got their hands over the Basic and Standard versions. They were able to test fire the rifles, though mainly doing some dry fire to test the recoil and they were impressed. The barrel aluminium allow is very good and similar to the real thing.
