EGLM for VFC SCAR in the works

Kitty of WGCShop sent us a heads up on the VFC SCAR Enhanced Grenade Launcher Module (EGLM) for the VFC SCAR series (L and H). It has a sliding barrel for better loading, and rifle grooves to properly grip it in place of a foregrip. No idea if this is an exact copy of the EGLM made by STAR, but something for SCAR fans out there to consider. No news yet if VFC is going to release a stand-alone module. Release date and pricing not indicated too. Thanks Kitty!

Echo1 SCAR Now Available

Echo1 USA Airsoft announced yesterday that the Echo1 SCAR is now available and will soon be available at Airsoft retailers near you (if you're in the US of A). This comes with authentic markings and features, you can see the similarity of this AEG with the DBoys SCAR-L which was released two months ago (May 2008) and we can say that it's a good performer. Though the designation of this Echo1 USA AEG is "Advanced Squad Carbine" or ASC.

Echo1 USA To Release Model ACS

Echo1 USA sent us news yesterday announcing that their Model ACS will be released by late July 2008. Looking at the photos sent, the Model ACS is based on the DBoys SCAR-L Version which obviously was shown by the battery compartment under the cheekpad. But of course, this comes with the usual Echo1 USA Warranty whenever you buy an AEG from them. The DBoys SCAR-L full review will be released in the upcoming July 2008 issue of the Popular Airsoft Magazine.

The STAR SCAR-H AEG with the EGLM is now at Redwolf Airsoft... "F'N' good. That's what this AEG is. Once you open the box of this beauty, you are greeted with what can be described as "sex-on-a-grip". The finish is quite simply sublime, hold it in your hands and you can feel the heft and how solid this gun is. It's the little things that count too, the battery is stored in the stock yet there are no unsightly wires or sockets seen when you unfold the stock.

DBoys SCAR-L Now In Black

If you do not fancy a dark earth colour on the DBoys SCAR-L replica, or you the dark earth verion is already out of stock, you can choose the black one instead, and Gunner Airsoft has it... "Hot release! CA replica, Aluminium machined Upper and polymer lower, and 400fps. With real trademark on the left side of receiver." This one looks closer the Classic Army SCAR-L CQC version which has been my favourite primary.

The DBoys FN SCAR comes in tan color (CA clone) comes with foregrip, additional barrel extension, tan color magazines, battery and battery charger. We all know that, but RSOV.com enlightens us that there are two batches that came out from DBoys, and the trades make the difference. The first batch and is widely available does not have Mk 16 Mod0 on the left side of the body, while the second and more expensive batch now has this. And the second batch is selling like hotcakes.

This new AEG from DBoys, which is another departure from their M4/M16 and AK (Kalash) series, is proving that the company is getting more flexible and increasing its product lines. The look of this AEG will make CA, VFC, Star, and G&G a run for their money as the finishing looks high end and with FN Markings.
