Titanfall Valentine's Day Treat To PC and XBox One Gamers

Gungho Cowboy

The first person shooter video game that has gotten out attention outside of the usual Call of Duty, Battlefield, and the Ghost Recon titles is Titanfall which offers more than the usual high tech gadgetry whilst players blow other players and Titans to bits online. The developers behind this title, Respawn Entertainment, got the credentials to pull off what might be a contender to the gazillion dollar sales of Call of Duty and Battlefield each year as its founders are former Infinity Ward's Jason West and Vince Zampella, revered for the Call of Duty Franchise.

Apart from human soldiers in this futuristic FPS video game, Titanfall's main attraction are the Titans --- giant mechs that have pilots who are also highly trained operators able to fight it out as pilots of the Titans and as shooters themselves with jumpsuits allowing them to traverse terrain and obstacles with ease. Titanfall is a new experience in terms of first person shooter video games, and we cannot wait for its release come 11 March 2014.

Whilst we wait for its release, pre-orders are now up allowing you to get bonuses and the mini-Prima Guide from Amazon. The guide is a breakdown of the multiplayer maps allowing you to plan your battle tactics ahead of the others. You will need to check other retailers what they are offering in their pre-orders with Walmart being said to be offering a Titanfall Patch which airsoft players might want to have and put it on their Velcros.

And a treat to those who have pre-ordered Titanfall from retailers such as Gamestop, a Beta release will be available come Valentine's day, 14 February 2014 for PC  and XBox One users. An alpha version was released early January 2014 for XBox One players. Please do check with the game's website where to make a pre-order so you can download the Beta release as this is limited to certain retailers.

This means that some girls (and men) will have to forget about a Valentine's date when this Beta gets released. The worse thing will be breaking up on Valentine's day just to play the Beta Release to get an advantage over other players prior to its world release in March.

Whilst we wait for the Beta Release, we'll have to settle on watching the videos released in recent months by the developers. Titanfall will be available for pre-order at £46.99 (XBox One), £41.99 (XBox 360), and £34.99 (PC). Pre-Purchase Download is £39.99 via Origin according to Game.
