A long walkthrough of the second generation AKMS AEG from E&L Airsoft in this video by Tanie Militaria... "E&L Airsoft is a new quality on the airsoft replica market. This manufacturer set itself the task of creating replicas that would be as close to their firearms as possible with the quality of the materials and fitting, and went as far as possible in this direction -  starting production in the same factory where firearms are made!  The replicas were made of exactly the same materials as in the prototypes: steel, hand-finished wooden elements or high-quality composite. Also, some external parts are  identical to the original  and come off the same production line.

Thanks to this move, E&L definitely took the lead among replica manufacturers from across the eastern border. It can compete (and win!) With the best brands on the market - also in terms of price. Its quality and parameters allow it to be both a beautiful wall decoration and a very effective replica in the field.

Externally, the maximum number of elements that is possible in the replica was made in a 1: 1 scale with the original, according to the military specification. This means the possibility of exchanging elements between the replica and the real firearm!  This applies, inter alia, to front cradle and gas pipe cover, sights. Hardly any other manufacturer offers such opportunities.

Wooden elements are subject to manual processing, which on the one hand ensures their high quality and, on the other, uniqueness. In this model, the bed and the gas pipe cover are made of wood. The uniqueness was also achieved thanks to the individual serial number located on the body. Steel elements, in turn, are oxidized, which makes their appearance even more realistic, moreover, with time, the process of abrasion of the oxides will provide a much better visual effect than in painted or varnished replicas.

Also in terms of weight, everything has been done for realism. The replica is heavy and, additionally, a fully steel outer barrel ensures proper balance. A noteworthy element is certainly the  possibility of partial disassembly of the replica, like a live firearm - without the use of tools.  Everything is based on pins and levers. The manufacturer took care of the smallest details to bring their products as close as possible to the original.

All E&L replicas are covered with thick technical oil, which protects the product during transport against moisture and other possible contamination. The mixture of oil, steel and varnished wood gives a unique scent that is well known to people who deal with firearms.

The replica's battery is located under the cover of the breech chamber.  The cover is mounted on one latch, which allows for its rapid disassembly and replacement of the power source at any time.

The product also looks great internally. E&L engineers collected the best solutions from the market and added their own. The pneumatic system consists of a set of silent piston head and cylinder, which increases the service life of the system through better shock absorption. The spring guide has bearings and there is a larger retarder on the piston rack. It gives the BB more time to enter the chamber, which is especially important in configurations ensuring a high rate of fire. High accuracy and focus of the shot will be ensured by  a precision inner barrel with a diameter of 6.04 mm.

What is Generation 2?

Generation 2 replicas are equipped with a completely new standard gearbox! First of all, it has a quick spring release system - Quick Spring Release . This system allows for quick adjustment of the replica's power to the user's needs by replacing the main spring, without the need to open the gearbox, and thus - having access to a workshop or specialized tools. After removing the gearbox from the replica's body, the process of replacing the spring itself takes literally a few seconds thanks to the special structure of the frame and the guide .

Generation 2 has an improved, even more durable gearbox : compared to the previous models, it was replaced with new frame, gears, cylinder, nozzle, spring guide and wiring. The new solutions guarantee a higher work culture, higher ROF and lower energy consumption.

Exactly what components can we find inside the E&L Gen.2?

The replicas are delivered in  completely new , practical and elegant boxes. The boxes are filled with a hard sponge, which securely and stably hold the replica and all accessories. Each replica has an oiler in the set, while models with a full stock also come with a cleaning kit, exactly the same as the one intended for firearms.

The replica comes with a steel mid-cap magazine with a capacity of 150 BBs.
