Bang Average Airsoft introduces his HFC airsoft flintlock pirate pistol, noting that while it is quite silly, he wants to give it some proper use. The main issue is that he primarily plays indoor close-quarters battles where he relies heavily on tracer units to see where his shots land. Because the stock pistol lacks sights and can make aiming guesswork, he decides to custom-build a way to attach a tracer unit to a firearm meant for the high seas.
To attach the modern accessory to a replica weapon, he sacrifices the ugly orange safety tip by grinding it down and drilling it out to create a unique adapter. He pairs this with a small pistol tracer, which fits snugly inside the barrel via friction. However, a modern black tube sticking out of a pirate gun ruins the historical illusion, leading him to look for a more stylish solution.
His solution involves sliding a brass tube over the tracer to help it blend in with the pistol's aesthetic. After a failed attempt at electrochemical etching, he cleans up the tube, uses a lathe to score lines, applies cold blueing for contrast, and adds small decorative bolts for a steampunk look. The finished product is securely glued onto the barrel, leaving him ready to charge the tracer and take his upgraded pirate pistol into battle.
