Shuric Shop Manado has show a customized SLR MK8 AEG unit, prepared for a customer in Bandung. This model features a mix of metal components, including a heavy outer barrel, trigger, and magazine release, moving away from the standard nylon parts. While it looks the part for a serious skirmish, it still retains the practical charm of a hobbyist's project, complete with a functional blowback feature that adds a bit of kick to the experience.
The internal upgrades are where things get technical, as the shop has swapped in various factory-grade AEG parts and a custom chamber. They have also implemented an "airhop" system, which they claim helps the BBs travel further than your average out-of-the-box replica. During the recorded chronograph test, the unit consistently clocked in at around 420 FPS with a rate of fire between 15 and 16 rounds per second. It’s essentially a sewing machine that shoots plastic, just with more tactical flair.
