A discusson by Fox Airsoft on the "Bang Rule" which is implemented for safety purposes especially at very short ranges... "Different fields across the country handle point-blank shooting a little differently in their rule sets. For fields that don't allow you to shoot that close, they might have something called the "bang bang" rule. This lets you take a player out without firing a shot, if you have them dead to rights simply by surprising them and by yelling BANG BANG.
