Finally, the wait is over, the VFC FN SCAR-Light Gen III is now in stock. While WGC Shop was accepting orders, there were several good first impressions on this replica firearm. A little bit late as it is already fall, and it was expected to be released during the summer season, the VFC SCAR, by looks and design a long is sure to give a stiff competition to other manufacturers' SCAR models, such as those released by JLS, Classic Army, and G&G.
It seems that Airsoft GI is now the first outside Asia retailer to have the anticipated G&G SCAR version available... "The G&G Full Metal G-SCAR L is one of the most flexible AEGs on the market and has a wide range of features that set it apart. VFC SCAR Video from WGC
This is a nice video close-up of the upcoming Vega Force Company SCAR-L which initially shows it with a shortened barrel. No background music, no one talking to discuss its finer features, but the handling of the AEG is absolutely very professional.
So here's the video now, enjoy!!! :)
I had a JLS FN SCAR-L, but after checking it out of the box, made my tests, and looked at the internals, I decided to return it due to its crappy worksmanship. So I hurried off to Airsoft Armoury and got a better one: the Classic Army (CA) SCAR-L. This is a better version in fact, and sometimes being second to releasing the FN SCAR airsoft version sometimes pays off. Now, G&G, VFC, and STAR are also coming out with their own versions.
G & G Armaments (Guay Guay Trading Co., Ltd.), established in 1986 and designs and manufactures high quality tuning, dressing parts, nylon outdoor gear, and airsoft guns, and also known for its quality products has released a new batch of pictures of the G & G G-SCAR-L. One of the distinct characteristics of the G-SCAR-L is that there is no wire power connector in the SCAR-L butt stock and no wires appear when you fold the stock in CQC mode, as opposed to the Classic Army SCAR-L.
Star Airsoft Accessories announces that it is to release its own version of the FN SCAR, with the L and H versions at the same time. The H version has a different magazine and flash hider as compared to the L version. These have CNC upper receivers and nylon fiber housing, steel triggers, and magazine release buttons on both sides.
After JLS fired off the first shot by releasing the JLS FN SCAR-L, and Classic Army following suit with their SCAR-L CQC and SCAR-H, VFC is about to release their version of the SCAR-L that comes in black and dark earth colors. HongKong Airsoft retailer WGC is now accepting pre-orders for the VFC SCAR-L. This is the Gen III SCAR-L that comes with a better built barrel and a nicely made flash-hider.
