Frog Engineering Airsoft do some custom HPA conversion of airsoft guns and in this video, they did a conversion of the WE Airsoft 888 Gas Blowback Rifle, WE's version of the HK416D, to use HPA as power source... Airsoft Mike gets a WE Airsoft 888 AEG (HK416) to review and this was comes pre-upgraded and available at SWIT Airsoft. The upgraded parts included are the T-N.T. S+ 370mm Barrel, T-N.T. Reapers Airsoft reviews the GBB version of the WE Airsoft 888 AEG. It comes with a 14mm CCW thread so you can fit a compatible mock suppressor... Next up for Mach Sakai to put through a quick review is the WE Airsoft 888 Gas Blowback Rifle. Base on the HK416 weapon design, this has a full metal receiver, good trigger pull, and hardkick recoil. Whilst this usually is 350fps out of the box, this version is downgraded to meet Japan laws in fps limits. Mach Sakai reviews it for operation, performance, and accuracy in a steel shooting setting.
The latest review done by Toi Gentaro for Hyperdouraku covers the WE Airsoft 888 AEG, or WE's AEG version of the Heckler & Koch HK416 Rifle. Most of the parts are made of aluminium and whilst it is produced to replicate the original faithfully, it doesn't come with markings of Heckler & Koch, which of course you know why.
