CZ BREN 2 Ms Special Edition Czech Rep NATO 25 Years

This year, the Czech Republic is celebrating a significant event: the 25th anniversary of its membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). In honour of this occasion, CZ, a well-known Czech firearms manufacturer, has unveiled a special limited edition of the CZ BREN 2 Ms rifle.

NATO, established in 1949, is a global alliance dedicated to preserving the freedom and security of its members through political and military strategies. On 12 March 1999, the Czech Republic became a member of this alliance, contributing to the collective mission of maintaining peace and stability in Europe.

The CZ BREN 2 Ms, a semi-automatic rifle, is modelled after the design utilized by the Czech Army. This dependable weapon, chambered in 223 Rem. and fitted with an 11-inch barrel, has been deployed in various NATO missions.

To mark the anniversary, CZ is manufacturing a limited run of just 25 rifles, each bearing a unique serial number. These exclusive firearms are characterized by several unique features, such as duralumin controls, an enlarged charging handle, and a long forend with an extended gas tube regulator. They are also fitted with a G.I.S. linear compensator to improve muzzle control.

In addition to these features, each rifle will be engraved with the date of the Czech Republic's NATO accession and the names of Alliance operations in which Czech soldiers have participated. All 25 units will also feature a unique color scheme, the specifics of which will be disclosed at a future date.

This limited edition will be of particular interest to collectors and enthusiasts due to the comprehensive list of accessories included. Each rifle will be equipped with a SPUHR RDF 20225K mount, an Aimpoint T2 red dot sight, and an Aimpoint magnification module, enhancing its versatility.

For those interested in owning this commemorative item, additional information about availability and pricing will be released on NATO's accession Day, 4 April 2024.
