Brrrrrr!!! What a cold weekend that was and it’s going to be colder still. As the airsoft season comes to close in the Northern Hemisphere as we’ll see lesser big outdoor airsoft events and mostly indoor events. More airsoft players will be spending their time pulling triggers with their game consoles playing Call of Duty, Battlefield, or whatever big name first person shooter that has been released for the Winter season. This means that more airsoft players have more online time than actual trigger time.

A part of that online time is devoted to the biggest online event in airsoft, the 7th Airsoft Players’ Choice Awards. It is the period that airsoft players show their appreciation to airsoft companies, retailers, game organizers, airsoft players, publications, and services by nominating their favourites and voting for the finalists.

For the 7th Airsoft Players’ Choice Awards that has more categories, tens of thousands of airsoft players will nominate their favourites in these categories; and for those who want to win an award, will mobilise their friends, customers, and fans via social media so they can go through the whole process of clinching nominations and eventually winning a category in the Voting/Finals Period.

Now, they have only a week to prepare for the Awards process as the Nominations Period for the 7th Airsoft Players’ Choice Awards opens on the 28th of November 2016. As to the categories, here they are again:

• Best Airsoft Kaboom! Manufacturer (Grenades, Pyros)
• Best Airsoft Pistol (regardless of power source)

We suggest that airsoft players copy the list of categories above and from there form their lists of nominees ahead of time so they won’t spend long at the Nominations form and just get on to quickly submit their nominees.

And to motivate you, there will be raffle prizes that will be revealed soon. For those who nominate and vote during the whole Awards process, they get the chance to have their names picked twice for a raffle prize as our appreciation for actively participating in both periods.
