At Last! The Maiden Issue Of The Popular Airsoft Magazine!

OptimusPrime

Whew! We can finally say it's here, the Popular Airsoft Magazine. After several months of discussions with friends and team mates, we finally sat down and started writing all those what we want to share with you. With the support of PopularAirsoft.com and its publisher, Billion Tribes Limited, the Magazine has now become a reality. This is what we mean we posted that "Something's Definitely Cooking Up Here!"

You might say, “not another airsoft magazine”, and yes we are another airsoft magazine which we hope would be able to harness the global conversations among airsoft players, wherever they are. Popular Airsoft Magazine is truly a collaboration of players from Asia, Europe and North America, and hopefully the rest of the world will follow. Thus, what you're going to read here in this maiden issue are stories written by airsoft players from the UK, United States, and the Philippines. What we all have written here is how we see things through our own very eyes, and how we experience airsoft with the rest of our senses. We will not claim to be the most accurate or the most authoritative in our reviews, stories, and tips, but we can claim to be honest on what we write about. We think that the unique selling point of this magazine is about being honest  and we will write stories as we see fit.

Now, what to expect inside our maiden issue? Well, we've got the Strategic Operations Executive (SOE) All Pink Squad as our cover story. For those who are not familiar with them, they are an all female unit of SOE from the Philippines, and they sure can beat the hell out of any all-male airsoft team. Trust us, we've played against them. This beats featuring female models as cover as we prefer those who are really into airsoft, female and male alike. As we said above, we're honest.

Brahma has written some stuff that you'll find interesting, like the psychology of colour, especially for combat clothing, and you  might wonder about the four things nobody told you about airsoft. Shogun reports about their recently concluded OP: White Star and we have the great guys from Deadrag Airsoft Radio, Shawn and Jeff, in which they tell you something about organising an airsoft event.

As always, and what we wouldn't shy away from, are the reviews of airsoft guns, guns, guns, and gear (with the emphasis on airsoft guns).  What would become of this magazine without these? We've got the Jing Gong HK416 and SIG-552 replicas, KSC Glock 19, and the latest and sexy King Arms Free Float Sniper AEG written by Leech and MadDog. Optimus Prime joins in the review fray by adding the Kart M14 EBR, the KJ Works Stealth Assassin, All China Made aiming devices, and the ATC 2000 camera.

For those who can't get enough of the RATRATAN 2007 photos, we're adding the photos that were not included at the PopularAirsoft.com website. Questionman and Mamba also tossed in some more such  as a DIY tip for your Steyr Aug, and the G&P Marine Special Forces AEG quick review.

With Ogre clicking away with his Nikon DSLR, at a high fps that would almost rival an AEG, he captured a lot of great moments.

There you go, we hope you'll enjoy reading the stories we have in store for you. As we always say to each other, "hoping to exchange bbs with you in the future."
