Meet The Winners of G&G's "Your Greatest Glory" Video Contest

Logan

Announced last Monday, 6 January 2014, G&G Armament finally announced the winners of their "Your Greatest Glory Video Contest." This video contest is an annual one held by the Taiwanese airsoft company for those who use their products and this is the richest amongst online contests in airsoft, with a total of US$30,000 in prizes in cash and in kind that await the winners.

We support this type of contest as it gets the creative juices of airsoft players going; and that they are also have the skills to shoot awesome videos apart from shooting airsoft guns. G&G actually has two creative contests with the other one being the "Show Yourself Photo Contest" that is also held annually.

The videos may not exactly make Hollywood outfits quake in fear, but for us in airsoft, these are already creative enough to be used to invite others to take up airsoft. Thus, apart from G&G also being promoted through these user-generated videos, airsoft is also being promoted; and the output of the contestants provides airsoft communities around the world enough video "ammo" to use when they recruit members to their team or introduce airsoft in their general communities.

The Grand Prize winner, or the winner of the G&G Commercial Award, goes to Mathias Lönnström of Finland. He wins the cash prize of US$10,000 and a free trip to Germany to attend the IWA & Outdoor Classics 2014 in the first weekend o March 2014 where G&G will do the awarding ceremony at their exhibit area.

Amongst the entries, the Scandinavians, especially the Finns and Swedes, have been particularly active in submitting their creations and many Europeans also submitted their entries. Fewer entries were submitted from the Americas and Asia.

We congratulate all the winners of the G&G's Your Greatest Glory Video Contest and we list all the winners here including the videos below. If you want to watch all the entries apart from the winners, you can click here.
