It's the first day of the 52nd Shizuoka Hobby Show and surely many of you would like to know what Tokyo Marui would unveil during this event. Many of you have gotten the answers right on most products that were shown in teaser photos as we have posted previously. For now, we'll post full details about the new products of Tokyo Marui as sent in by the company and Hobby Show Floor photos will follow later.

Air Revolver Series Colt Python.357mag, M29, M629

The air revolver series for players over 10 years old is now with the muzzle velocity already set below 0.135J which means it can be used by minors. It has the following features:

• Its operation is just like real revolvers. The bullets are inserted to the cartridges and they will be loaded to the cylinder.
• Good accuracy and long distance shots are achieved thanks to the HOP-UP SYSTEM
• It can shoot at single action (it can’t shoot by double action). Hammer is light and easy to cock though as it part of the Air-Cocking Series. (Patent-pending)

This "Gun Shot" System reminds us of the ShotSynth that we have written about before where an airsoft shooter dons a pair of headphones and uses a smartphone app that will fire a gunshot sound when the airsoft gun is fired. This Marui system seems to act like the same and we'll try to find out about this via YAS of Hyperdouraku. Description from the company right after the image below.

Revolutionary system was developed!  You can enjoy as if “your shoot sound is like real gun”. It has a “shot detection system” installed at the internals of the airsoft gun that perceives the shoot of BBs and instantly transmits to “the receiver”. The sounds are given forth from the earphone or head phones and you can feel like real shot sound.

Features of VSR-10 Pro hunter G

• “GUN SOUND”-equipped. You can enjoy real shooting sound linked with the BB shot.
• The scope is installed to “VSR-10 G SPEC”, and the metal parts are silver color. It’s “pro hunter” style.

• “Receiver” uses 3 pieces of AAA batteries which can receive radio signals for 24 hours straight.

• The communication between “shot detection system” and “receiver” can be performed without cords. These apparatus use 2.4GHz band radio waves for transmission and reception. Interference doesn’t happen even if 999 sets of the products are concurrently used.

This Gas Blowback “M9A1” will be coated. There is no real steel Silver M9A1 that exist like this model so it's unique in itself.

Tokyo Marui M320A1 Gas Grenade Launcher

The gas grenade launcher series will be release soon. It can shoot when it is installed to your guns as a secondary weapon and you can also use it as a standalone launcher. It can shoot 18 rounds simultaneously and the BBs spread to 2 square metres, at 20 metres away from shooter.

The gas is charged into the body, so gas pressure will be stable. With this, the course of BBs get stable. You can aim at the target you intend to hit even better.

As for the cartridge, only BBs are loaded, so no need to worry about accidental explosion.

The Features of M320A1

• 18 bullets can be loaded in one cartridge. 6 inner barrels x 3 bullets each, total 18 rounds can be blasted out with one shot.
• It can achieve 20m~30m distance when shot by curved trajectory. BB bullets are spread out to 2 square metres to a rang of 20 metres.
• Gas will be charged from the bottom of the grip. It can shoot 25~35 times with a single gas charge depending on the temperature
• It has a tough body. Metal materials are used for the outer barrel, body and stock bar.
• M320A1 can shoot as a standalone launcher or tt can be installed to the guns by detaching the stock from M320A1. The airsoft guns have “railed handguard with at least 20mm in width and 140mm in length”. This can fit for example, HK416D, SOPMOD M4 and Recce Rifle and so on. (We recommend to install it to NEGs)
• 20mm rail is installed under its body. It is also equipped with a Folding Foregrip.
• Tangent sight is also available when it is installed on the rifles. If you can use the sight well, you can aim, point and shoot at the intended target properly.
• The cartridge has a simple structure to load the BBs. It is so light (about 110g) that you can easiy carry many cartridges and you can buy them at a cheap cheap price. (The cartridge is tentively priced at JPY2,500)

Tokyo Marui M870 Tactical Gas Shot Gun

The Tokyo Marui GAS SHOTGUN” SERIES is coming with the first model being the M870 Tactical.

The “AIR SHOTGUN” SERIES could shoot 3 round BBs at the same time. On the other hand, ”GAS SHOTGUN” SERIES can select “3-round shot” or “6-round shot”. You can select the fire type to fit the situation. For example, in a long distance, 3round shot mode. In a short distance, 6rounds shot mode.

The features of M870 TACTICAL

• It is equipped with a 20mm rail and XS (Ghost ring) type rear sight.
• New shotshell magazine is also available (the capacity is 30 rounds). It is also available for the AIR SHOTGUN series. You can still use current shotshell magazines for the new M870 Tactical gas shot gun.
• You can select the fire type mode “3-round shot mode” or “6-round shot mode” by moving the selector lever which is located at the ejection port (patent-pending).
• New engine was developed for the “GAS SHOTGUN”. The “Rapid fire” function is installed that enables you to shoot one after another with operating the fore end and keeping the trigger pulled.
• “Double Hop-Up System” was newly developed. It can make BBs hopping-up at 3-round or 6- round shot mode (patent-pending)
• Removable large GAS tank is installed in the stock. It can shoot 100 shots or more with a single gas charge. (A Gas Tank is also planned as part of optional parts to sell.)
• Fore end and stock were measured from real gun
• Metal parts are adopted for the primary parts (ex. Outer Barrel, Receiver, Trigger Plate). The high stiffness and realistic texture were achieved by using such parts.

Tokyo Marui SAMURAI EDGE A1 Jill Valentine Model (Limited Edition Model)

Capcom will release popular video game: “BIOHAZARD REVELATIONS UNVEILED EDITION” with the Japan release date to be on the 23rd of May. Tokyo Marui made “SAMURAI EDGE A1 JILL MODEL” that is based on “M9A1” and will appear in that game for the first time!

Brigadier slide has engraved marks “S.T.A.R.S.”, with an originally designed sight, and a grip with medallion. Characteristic features are abundantly adopted. It is appropriate that the model is named as Samurai edge.

Features of SAMURAI EDGE A1 Jill Valentine Model

• This model is based on “GBB M9A1” that was measured from the real gun and manufactured like a real gun. It was refined to be suitably modernized.
• Optional devices can be attached to the 20mm under rail. (ex. Flashlight)
• Comparably, the capacity of cylinder got 15% larger than the current Samurai Edge (based on M92F). Thanks to it, you can feel stronger recoil. Also, due to the variable hop-up system, shoot distance and accuracy got even better.
• Safety locking system is achieved with decocking function.
• Brigadier slide was improved to have stronger stiffness by making the locking lug thicker. On the slide, the name of special unit “S.T.A.R.S.” and “Custom Shop Kendo” are engraved. Main game character, Jill Valentine belonged to “S.T.A.R.S.”. “Custom Shop Kendo” made the Samurai Edge in the game.
• Tactical combat sight that comes with a white dot.
• Hybrid upgraded grip is adopted that is made of Wood and rubber-types that are well-blended.
• “S.T.A.R.S.” medallion is installed on the grip. The medallion is designed mainly using the light blue color bwhich is Jill’s personal color.
• Serial numbered exclusive gun case is included.
• Package art is illustrated by CAPCOM.
