Airsoft in the United Kingdom marked a sad day and a big loss last 9 January 2016, when Tom Andrews, one of the pioneers of airsoft in the UK passed away. For airsoft players who have played at or are regulars of Elite Action Games, he is the familiar face by the van who ensures each player gets to have his/her airsoft gun to play, handling the rentals, and also the props that they find in the game site.

Tunnel rats who enjoy playing at the Elite Action Games' Epsom Bunkers in Surrey may not enjoy it for long if the plan to convert the former air raid tunnels during World War II as a giant gold vault pushes through. According to Surrey Comet, if the plan happens, Elite Action Games may just be one airsoft skirmish site short and those who live in the Southwest London area will have to travel further to find another place.

Now, back to the 70s with Elite Action Game's Tour of Duty - Vietnam Airsoft... "Tet 1968. As had become the norm in recent years, both the US / ARVN forces and the NVA/VC observed a truce during the New Year. ARVN forces were stood down and many personnel had returned to their family homes to celebrate. US forces were on a lesser state of alert. No-one in a position of authority expected anything other than Tet fireworks and hangovers.
