Merlin's Airsoft News post their final report on the recent Milsim West Raid on Rostov event, with the battle now inside the factory complex... "Our final report from Rostov comes as the NATO forces push into the munitions factory. Just as it seems all is lost for the Russians, a huge storm rolls through the facility, causing NATO to have to fall back and take cover. Once the storm settles, NATO and Russia appear to be at a stalemate through out the night..."

For airsoft event organisers, here's an example of an After Action Report they can follow that is based on player's (read: customers) feedback. Raptor 1 Milsim posted this AAR fo the Milsim West Raid on Rostov which took place almost two weeks ago. The AAR, according to them has no Cadre (organiser) input and is purely from the player's viewppoints. This can help the organisers make improvements and corrections to their game organising process and structure.

After having airdropped in the middle of the night, NATO forces now move towards the gate that leads into the munitions factory in order to relocate their CP. They are slowed down by an intense battle when they come across a Russian patrol guarding the gate."

"Our story begins in Rostov, where a Russian force that numbered roughly around 100 were tasked with defending a factory in which nuclear materials were being stored (come to find out later that it was actually a munitions factory). NATO forces loaded airplanes on a tarmac in temperatures of 90 degrees even after the sun had set.

Milsim West finally announce their first East Coast event with more details... "Announcing our first ever event on the East Coast! Registration opens Friday, April 17th. After the NATO offensive and siege of Rostov-on-Don was broken NATO ground forces have been pushed back into the border regions. Despite the lengthy and costly siege of Rostov many pieces of critical Russian defense infrastructure remains in place including the Balakin Munitions Factory.

One Grunt's Opinion breaks the news of Milsim West going to the East Coast with a milsim event... "Scoop of the year here guys. Waterboarding was successful and I intercepted some enemy communications. MSW is going east for 'Raid on Rostov' on June 26-28 in Darlington, SC. I also cracked the code for the exact secret location. The observant fans will figure it out. I might tell the rest of you tomorrow."
