The Tokyo Game Show 2023 is finally open yesterday and Tokyo Marui posted photos of their participation at the event via their collaboration with CAPCOM for the RE:4 Resident Evil game. At the CAPCOM show area, there is a shooting booth in which visitors, 18 years and above can try the Tokyo Marui SGR-09 R Gas Blowback Pistol. The design of the pistol is used in the game by the main character, Leon S. Kennedy.

The Fulton Recovery System is again in the media. First seen in the movie "The Green Berets" this is an aerial recovery of a person on the ground using a balloon that will be snatched by the recovery plane to safety. This was used to recover operatives or high value targets who are to be captured alive in hostile territoy. Metal Gear Solid shows this system in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Corridor Digital does a video about it.
Fans of the Metal Gear Solid Series can look forward to owning Solid Snake's Sneaking Boots. Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima gives us an update by tweeting photos of the boots which he is creating in cooperation with German footwear manufacturer, Puma. This version of the sneaking boots is based on the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
