Some real steel and airsoft photos shown side by side courtesy of Silverback Airsoft as they post both the real steel DesertTech MDR and the Silverback Airsoft MDR Prototype side by side at the IWA Outdoor Classics 2017. This is a bullpup rifle that is highly configurable and hopefully we get the airsoft version by the end of this year...
A long list of new products in stock at eHobby Asia this week. Starting with the Bullpup Kits for the Gas Blowback Rifles from SRU, other new arrivals are those from TAF Custom Tokyo Marui, Armorer Works, WinGun, 5.11 Tactical, Readt Fighter, Striker Industries, and Guarder. Just check the links below to learn more:
Another bullpup gas blowback rifle is coming this month according to SRU GBB and it's a version of one of the best GBB rifle in the market, the GHK Airsoft G5 GBB. We are not sure if this a conversion kit or a fully completed version of the G5 Bullpup. Hopefully, in retains the performance and kick of the original GHK G5.
For airsoft players relishing the thought of being able to play with an AK bullup, SRU is all set to be releasing their SRU Bullpup Kit this month which they announced on Facebook early this month. The Kit will be available for the WE Airsoft AK PMC and all fixed stock versions of the GHK AK GBB. Here is the video again of the kit in action which they posted last November 2015.
We get to see the first Bullpup AK model made for the airsoft market in a fast reload video. The SRU Bullpup AK Gas Blowback Rifle was on display during the 2016 International Camo Festival organised bu the TWAAA (Taiwan Airsoft & Airgun Association) that was held last 29 October 2016.
Featured on Evike.com's "The Gun Corner" is the SRU GBB SCAR Bullpup Conversion Kit. There are two versions of this kit, one made for the SCAR-L GBB and the other for the SCAR-H GBB. For this feature, it is the SCAR-H Bullpup Conversion Kit which is what airsoft players are after rather than the SCAR-L version.
Conversion kits to turn the SCAR-L GBB into a bullpup and the G17/G18 into carbines from Strike Recon Union (SRU) are available at Crawley Surplus UK and here is their video review of these kits... "Now this is something a little different! Dan gets his hands on some shiny bits of plastic all the way from Taiwan. But these aren't just any old shiny piece of plastic, these are SRU's brand new bullpup and carbine conversion kits."
Following through with the SCAR-L Bullpup, SRU posted photos of their upcoming SRU SCAR-H Bullpup or the SR-BUP-P1/H last week. We assume that this will take in the WE Airsoft SCAR-H Open Bolt Gas Blowback Rifle and converting it into a bullpup rifle and that a kit will also be released for those who want to do the conversion on their own.
This one is on top of our list of bullpup rifles that need to have an airsoft version. Used in the movie District 9, the Vekctor CR-21's origins is South Africa and Larry Vickers gets the honour to lay his hands on one for this episode of Vickers Tactical's TAC-TV... "Larry introduces an extremely rare bullpup, the Vektor CR-21. From South Africa, this gun was featured in the film District 9. This gun is 1 of only 2 known in the United States."
FU53 Custom Works finally revealed the complete "Daedalus" Project. This is a custom Bullpup Rifle that uses the KJ Works KC-02 Rifle as the base gun giving it a more futuristic DMR look. The KJ Works KC-02 Blowback Airsoft Rifle is favourite amongst airsoft players for its accuracy and performance. Watch the videos below, including the firing test.
