The Armalite rifle that never saw action in military forces, the AR-18 influenced the design of several rifle designs, and saw limited production, as the AR15/M16 was adopted and went into full production. Its present incarnation is the AR-180 which is a semi-automatic rifle for the civilian market. However, it may see more wider use in airsoft in its original concept as fully automatic rifle as an AEG.
