Whilst we see sighting, recording, and smartphone protection cases and mounts for real steel firearms, now we see such being developed with the airsoft and other recreational shooting markets specifically in mind. Phobolt announced their own products that can be used by airsoft players to protect their iPhones and mount the on their airsoft guns. Whilst the iPhone is mounted on the airsoft gun, they can use an app developed by Phobolt for use in airsoft games.

An update on the development of the Operator iPhone Case by Hephaestus Project (not to be confused with Hephaestus Airsoft) for those who are waiting for this... "Our third and last final prototype is finished and with just some slight 'tuning' we should be good for a launch on kickstarter next month if all goes well! CRB Manufacturing has stepped up to the plate with future manufacturing duties - they also made our final prototype. CRB has been the supplier for Benchmade Knives' belt clips."

They also invited a reinforcement, a Taiwanese TV Celebrity who goes by the name of "Mr. Mountain" and they took time to translate the conversation for Chinese and English speakers alike.
