Here's the second episode from Image is Live as part of their Public Service Announcements to make the Hong Kong public aware on the dangers and safety of using airsoft guns given the spate of air gun shootings that happened recently in the area and avoiding a backlash against the hobby when people demand that they be heavy regulated.

As featured here, airsofters in Hong Kong are working hard to avoid a public backlash against shooting sports, especially airsoft, with the recent shootings involving air guns and injuring civilians as already reported here. Image is Live got their hands on the new APS APM50, the new shell-ejecting sniper rifle coming out of APS this year. It looks similar to the APS APM40, this one though has a shorter bolt and it is CO2-powered with the Hong Kong version having an initial muzzle velocity of 400-500fps. Pricing and availability are not mentioned yet though we expect this to hit Hong Kong store shelves anytime now.
There has been a lot of interest on the UAR Urban Assault Rifle (UAR) among airsoft players due to its unique hybrid and futuristic look. Even more are some of the features that the videos made by Image is Live were watched carefully but a clamor for an english language review of the AEG had made them write one and thus can be easily translated into more languages by other news sites.
A new bullpup AEG is on its way, and it's made by APS. This is a concept AEG that seems to take inspiration from several rifles: the Steyr AUG, the Tavor, and the PDR by the looks of it. It has more rails than the mentioned rifles and can use existing M4 AEG magazines. For those who prefer using bullpups for longer reach in a compact rifle, then this might be a good one to take a look at.
Issue No. 3 of Image Is Live Airsoft Magazine is now available for you to download or read online. The contents of this issue cover a lot of Action Air events such as the HKAPSC and Destination Philippines. Issue No. 2 of LIVE Airsot e-Zine (this is the official English title rather than "Image is Live" or "War Game" according to Andy who sent in the news) is available for download. This issue covers two Action Air events held in Hong Kong recently plus IPSC techniques such as aiming and gearing up.
