If you remember the news we posted last July about Activision, the game publisher behind the Call of Duty Franchise? They were sued by former Panamanian Dictator, Manuel Noriega, for "misapproprating" his name and likeness for the video game. The dictator is seeking lost profits and damages from the Activision over the FPS video game. Noriega was a character in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 FPS video game.

PRESS RELEASE: Columbus, Georgia based Digital Concealment Systems, makers of the A-TACS Camo family of patterns has signed a deal with Activision Publishing, Inc., publisher of the popular Call of Duty® series of video games. As part of the deal, A-TACS Camo patterns will make their first appearance in the blockbuster Call of Duty®: Black Ops II video game developed by award-winning studio Treyarch.

With the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 title released today, there are new rules that will be enforced to avoid the usual headaches about cheating and hacking in multiplayer games. We don't know how effective these rules will be, but here's to looking forward to an even better multiplayer experience once we get our own copies today.

With the impending release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, the guys from Activision tease us with two of their limited editions as long as you've got some dough to splurge on these. The first one is the Care Package, where for US$180, you get the Xbox 360 or PS3 verion, the Dragonfire Quadcopter which unfortunately seems not to fire anything, extra maps, etc..etc.
