Here are the highlights of the APS Concept Festival 2015 which was held over the weekend before the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair. Warpaper was there to cover the event, showing us the various products on display, Mr. Frog greeting visitors, and of course pretty Hong Kongers with some good looking airsoft rifles.
This is an interesting entry from Airsoft Megastore as they continue with their coverage of the ongoing Hong Kong International Toys & Games Fair. They visit the booth of Airsoft Pioneer (ASP) the distributor of JG Works. What interest us apart from the usual M4 offerings are their airsoft version of the bullpup Dragunov called the OTs-03 SVU, and their replica of the Tactical Revolution AJAX Armor System which is a ballistic shield that can be used by support gunners.
It's the second installment of the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair 2015 as Airsoft Megastore covers the 4 day event. They visit Golden Eagle/Jing Gong where they write about the airsoft guns on display. We agree with them that their "Hover Shot" target device looks cool and reminds of us of the floating balls that we blow to hover when we were kids.
The first event in Asia that will feature airsoft will be the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair 2014 which will be held on the 6th to the 9th of January 2014. The first time we were there in 2008, there were just around 4 booths showing some serious airsoft guns but over the years the airsoft presence has grown.
Magpul PTS are inviting everyone who are planning to go to the HKTDC HK Toys & Games Fair to visit their booth. The fair, where previously had just small airsoft participation when we first attended is now getting more and more attendees from the airsoft industry. This might be the big event in Asia before the SHOT show.
