Whilst NV devices are cool to use for night operations, you need to get used to shooting with such before you actually go into an actual mission, or for airsoft, a night game. Tactical Fanboy does a review this time, and it's about the Lancer Tactical GPNVG-18 Dummy... "As far as replicas go, Lancer Tactical really hit it out of the park with their GPNVG-18 Dummy. The detail of this product is high: the Dummy is the proper size, features accurate accessories, and proper markings; There are identification stickers that come with the dummy that can be used to add further detail. The unit is made from sturdy plastic, and the non-functioning power button is made from a spongy foam-like material.

Reported by Public Enemy and confirmed by Bunny Workshop is the Warrior Airsoft  Special Edition Dummy PVG-18. Due to requests for a "light version" of the dummy standard GPNVG-18 being produced by Spartan Airsoft, Warrior Airsoft modified the Spartan Airsoft GPNVG-18 Standard version to also have its own light-on function, which is available only in the Deluxe and more expensive version of the Spartan Airsoft GPNVG-18.

The battle of Dummy GPNVG-18s continues as other airsoft blogs and websites review the dummies made by FMA and Spartan Airsoft. Austrian Airsoft website, Spartan AT, reviews both products and finds the Spartan Airsoft to be a much better dummy whilst the FMA version has its flaws, cannot be faulted much due to its price. There's some excitement about the Spartan Airsoft GPNVG-18 which is a dummy of the Spartan GPNVG-18 and even having a working replica would be very expensive for now.
