With the observance  of the 20th Anniversary of the Operation Gothic Serpent or known as Blackhawk Down, we find out that such an event never got unnoticed in Japan, as Hyperdouraku reports of the Blackhawk Down Game 2013. Around 65 airsoft players participated in the event, and the all were equipped of the tools of the event --- M16s, AKs, RPGs, and for the US troops, the desert camo.

Most probably the most significant event in the Operation Lion Claws Military Simulation Series (OLCMSS) due to its historic significance in U.S. Military History and immortalised by Hollywood, Operation Irene 2013 commemorates the 20th anniversary of Operation Gothic Serpent that happened in Mogadishu, Somalia, otherwise more known as as "Blackhawk Down".
