Sasugo attended for Hyperdouraku the Shot Show Japan 2022 that took place in Osaka in May... "Shot Show Japan has long been popular with enthusiasts in the Kansai region. I feel that the number of visitors has decreased considerably compared to a few years ago due to the influence of the corona every year, but even so, I felt that the spring part of this year was gradually regaining its vitality.

Airsoftology goes to Osaka to visit the airsoft scene. Hosted by Laylax, Jonathan Higgs attends for the first time the Shot Show Japan, a militaria and airsoft show which many airsoft companies, retailers, and enthusiasts attend. He also gets to see the airsoft legend, Tanio Koba.

Hyperdouraku attended the Winter Edition of the SHOT Show Japan 2017 which took place last 2 December 2017 in Osaka, Japan. Tokyo Marui was there showing the new Type 89 Gas Blowback Rifle as well as the newly released AK-47 Type III NEG. One of the institutions of airsoft, Tanio Koba, was there as well, never failing to show up.

Hyperdouraku writes about the Shot Show Japan 2017 which took place last 2-3 September in Osaka. According to him, this is the largest militaria event in Western Japan. Lots of stuff to be seen in airsoft here which not only showcases airsoft products made in Japan but from the rest of East Asia as well.

The GBLS DAS M4A1 airsoft rifle is first seen beyond the shores of South Korea and appearing in Japan for the first time. They demo the fine features of the DAS M4A1 as it is the AEG with the most realistic operation that can rival gas blowback rifles. They also had the honour to have Tanio Koba check their creation so watch the second video to find out what the airsoft legend thinks about it.

The event that took place in Osaka last 28-29 May 2016 show the newly announced products from Tokyo Marui such as the KSG and the M40A5 on display. Other companies were there such as Laylax and the distributors of airsoft guns made in Taiwan. Itsuya was there as well as Tanio Koba who hails from the area.

Laylax announced that they will be at the Shot Show Japan 2016 on the 28th to the 29th of May 2016 where they will be putting on display Krytac AEGs such as Alpha and MK2 Series. They are the distributor for Krytac in Japan... We will exhibit to the West's largest military shopping event "Shot Show Japan'

Hyperdouraku was at the Shot Show Japan Winter 2015 last 5 December in Osaka, Japan. Hosted bythe DSI Club, it is the largest militaria show in Western Japan. Lots of photos were posted showing the latest of Tokyo Marui such as the M4A1 MWS and the much awaited AA-12 AES. Tanio Koba was there as always, and many more exhibitors showing collectibles and the latest airsoft guns available in the Japanese market.

Over a week ago, Hyperdouraku attended the Shot Show Japan 2015 which took place in Osaka last 30-31 May 2015 at the Osaka Shinsaibashi Sanbouru Exhibition Area. He gives us a rundown of what he saw there, including the newly announced Tokyo Marui AA-12 AES which many are looking forward to its release. We also see the venerable Tanio Koba at the exhibit, and many custom airsoft guns too.
