Before gas blowbacks and AEGs, there were the airsoft springers. Mach Sakai gets a really vintage airsoft gun in the form of the Maruzen KG9 spring airsoft gun. Made in 1982, this is a shell-ejecting airsoft gun that you have to cock each time to fire. He checks it for operation including how BBs are loaded and for a quick steel challenge.

"When it comes to rare Airsoft replicas, one would assume that the company that used to make them 30 years back would be long gone. Not in this case, as Maruzen are still around after so long. You can say that their KG9 is probably one of their oldest guns! Strange how we always find these lying around somewhere."

They have announced a price reduction from US$220.00 to US$189.00. Famous as a gangsters assault weapon, these Sweden-designed weapon fires at semi and fill with smooth blowback and steady side cycling. The upper receiver is made of steel whilst the lower receiver/grip is Polymer.
Another close look at the Arms Revolution KG9 Gas Blowback SMG, this time it's courtesy of Airsoft Taiwan where they give us the finer details of this old-school style gun but is actually a more contemporary gun which was originally designed in Sweden. This is based on the Intratec TEC DC-9 Assault pistol that seems to be a favourite of criminals in the USA.
