Latest in my WebSighting of Airsoft teams around the world... "SAG Team was formed in December 2005 with the objective of taking part in airsoft games and reenactment events. This team reenacts an actual  German long distance recon unit called Fernspäh, including uniforms,  weapons, equipment, ranking, etc. The long distance recon's and the special operations are the main operational functions of the team.

This team build their strength in hard military training based on special forces combat techniques.

Training method focus the preparation for hard combat gaming situations in adverse environment, with the objective of  preparing the soldier mentally and physically to accomplish game missions.

The  SAG team is dedicated to the practice of airsoft and military reenactment as a hobby.

There aren't any financial benefits with this activity, nor any type of political connotation, religious person or racial.

Incitement to violence and to criminal acts doesn't exist and are reproved by the team members.

All the training procedures are designated to improve the performance of the team in airsoft and reenactment events.  The team members don't use their training for any other situations beside airsoft and reenactment.

The airsoft is a military simulation game, falling back upon the use of weapons replicas in the scale of 1:1. These replicas shoot plastic ammunitions with 6mm (bb's) completely inoffensive, not being susceptible to cause any type of injury  in a person. The eye protection is obligatory, but other body protections are welcome such as elbow, knee pads and helmets.

The airsoft appeals to honor and fair play among players, since visual proof of a player's elimination doesn't exist.

The airsoft replicas are not susceptible to be modified with the objective of shooting real ammunitions.

Recruitment

The new recruits for the team are subject to a plan of behavioral and combat formation, with the duration that can go from one to three months. The formation has the main goal of preparing for airsoft combat, based on special forces techniques. The training methodology is the most approximate possible to reality, with the due adaptations to airsoft.

After having accomplished the plan of initial formation the recruit will begin his/her process of specific formation, according to his/her future position inside the team.

The formation have several components, such as individual and team combat procedures and camouflage techniques, survival, orientation, etc.

The new recruits have as support document's the SAG - Combat Manual and the SAG - Field Operation Manual, where the individual and team operational procedures are described.

After completing the demanding formation plan the recruit will be able to accomplish the doctrine all SAG are ruled upon.

The new members must be able to accomplish the high level equipment demands of the team.  There are three levels of equipment the member's must acquire, the Green Level (Basic Equipment and Clothes), the Blue Level (Medium Equipment and Clothes), and the Red Level (Complete Equipment and Clothes).

It's not allowed to upgrade to the next level before completing the previous one.

To begin the initial plan of trainings the recruit should have accomplished the green level, the following levels should be reached according with indications of the team leader or the recruit own initiative.
